Just a few days after announcing that it will kill Reader, Google launched a new service called Keep. If you’ve got a Google account, you can access it from: drive.google.com/keep. If you have an Android device running version 4.0 or up, you can download the convenient Keep app from the Play Store, but you don’t need the app to use Keep, you can just use your browser. Keep lets you take notes and make lists easily and stores that information in your Google Drive. It even has voice transcription. I don’t think this is an Evernote killer, but it could certainly evolve into a powerful app.
