Google has posted a new video for it’s Glass Project which I wrote about briefly the other day. It’s a point of view video that illustrates how the interface looks from the perspective of the wearer. It shows how a Glass user can record video, send a text message, create a Google hangout, view photos, take a picture, get turn by turn directions, do a web search and even do language translation.
The video is really compelling. I have to say, it looks really, really cool! I want them…NOW! Now I only need to come up with $1500. Ack!
Google has announced that Glass will go on sale this year to consumers for less than the $1500 that developers and early adopters have to pay. No specific pricing was announced.
